Shakespeare's Bloody Bits

The Albion School of Defense recreates the excitement and extravaganza of ancient swordfighting. Under the creative direction of noted fight choreographer and director Michael Cawelti the group supplies fight training for actors from both historical and theatrical perspectives. Begining classes usually start in the fall in El Cerito, Callifornia in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are playing in at the Heart of the Forest Faire in Stafford Lake Park, Marin County. Five weekends in 2003, July 12 - August 10, 11 am - 7 pm. Check the ForestFaire website for deteails. For more information on Albion, e-mail us at albion@ghh.com.

We perform at major Renaissance Faires and events. Our shows include dazzling displays of wit and sword play. Ok, perhaps I've overstated it just a bit, but we like them. We have produced The Deadly Game, The History of the Sword, Manly Men in Tights, Shakespeare's Bloody Bits, and Robin Hood: Prince of Leaves theatrical shows for the Renaissance Entertainment Corporation. We also perform street shows, hearty displays of dueling, and thoughtful training.
